Greetings and Happy Friday!

Whilst we’re all whisking away to far off destinations this summer there are glorious weekend to also be spent in London and this week we thought we’d gather together our best bits in London Brunch, Lunch and Coffee spots. We’ve focused on smaller establishments and unique places to try this time and will follow up with dinner, drinks and dancing in a future Friday Favourite!

So, whether you have a day off or looking for inspiration for a more imaginative weekend look no further for some ideas and of course, get involved and share your recommendations with us as well!

Quirk: Facade doesn’t give away the treats behind this door. School like chairs and simple flowers give it a understated charm

Favourite Munch: Try their breakfasts, amazing poached eggs and big juicy mushrooms are a must!

Favourite Sip: Coffee strong and delicious!

Quirk: Huge central table for groups seating 19 on vintage theatre chairs.

Favourite Munch: Chorizo Hash Brown

Quirk: Doll’s head on the counter and shabby chic interior.

Quirk: Amazing bakery with piles of breads, cakes and delicious treats to eat in or take away.

Favourite Munch: French Toast with Maple Syrup, Pecans and Bacon

Favourite Sip: Bloody Mary

LUNCH:

Quirk: Sit on benches outside with other customers and get chatting!

Favourite Munch: Caramelized Onion Gallette

Favourite Sip: Rum and homemade Lemonade

Quirk: Tucked away down a side street this cafe also boasts a great venue for cocktails and you can get a delicious slice of homemade cake, baked on site any time!

Favourite Munch: Selection of fresh salads made daily with brilliant variety and flavour!

Favourite Sip: Sloe Lemonade

CAFE FLEUR

Where: 198 St Ann’s Hill  Wandsworth  SW18 2RT

Quirk: Delectable homemade cakes oozing with personality as well as unique savoury delights!

Favourite Munch: Toasted rolls with béchamel sauce, roasted vegetables and salmon, topped with melted cheddar and feta cheese.

Favourite Sip: Latte

TEA & COFFEE:

Quirk: Coffee board behind the counter with fridge magnet letters, scrabble letters and others making the list of available drinks into a unique collage! Oh and Will Smith has slurped a coffee here..no biggie!

Favourite Munch: Caramel Slice 

Favourite Sip: Flat White

- GOSWELL COFFEE

Where: 77-78 Brixton Village, Coldharbour Lane, SW9 8PE

Quirk: There are so many, some of our favourites include: ET on the counter, daily mystic megs horoscopes by the till while you wait, illustrated back wall, ‘push it real good’ door plaque.

Favourite Munch: Egg and cheese toasted muffin (naughty) Strawberry museli yogurt (nice)

Favourite Sip: Banana and Honey Smoothie

- WORKSHOP COFFEE CO

Where: 27 Clerkenwell Road, Clerkenwell, London EC1M 5RN

Quirk: Coffee is not only served but roasted onsite staying true to it’s name it’s quite literally a workshop. A peaceful one! We also love the tea served on a small wooden tray in beautiful ceramic teapots which are avaliable for purchase.

Favourite Munch: Toasted Banana Bread

Favourite Sip: A house roast, such as Juana Mamani from Bolivia.
